Thirty years of filed work
Since 1994 every program of work on these claims has been filed with Ontario as assessment work – about $855,000 approved in all – and every report is public on GeologyOntario. This tour walks through them in order. The Years button at the top of the map plays the same story year by year.

1994: the first grid
Doug Robinson's first program: 18.5 km of cut lines, geological mapping at 1:1000, MaxMin EM and ground magnetics, and hand stripping and sampling of about 45 iron-carbonate outcrops. The EM picked out three conductors (K, L and M), and the mapping traced iron-carbonate alteration trends parallel to the Kirkland Lake and Larder Lake breaks.

1995–99: more ground, more surveys
Eight more reports followed by 1999 – more EM, magnetics, mapping, test pits and a till study – on these claims and on neighbouring ground then held: Eby West, the Highway 11 claims and the Otto Horne claims (dashed), which have since been given up.

The quiet years
No new assessment work was filed on the property between 1999 and 2010.
-
2010–11: walking magnetometer over the drill targets
The old grid lines were re-cut and walking-magnetometer profiles run across the proposed drill targets – about 2.9 km of lines. The report's map shows the 17 holes proposed in 1995 (A to Q) and gold values from the 1990s pits, up to 19.7 g Au/mT in a grab sample.
-
2010–16: soil chemistry (MMI)
Three MMI soil surveys – 2010 on Eby West, then 2012 and 2016 on these claims – sampled more than 300 sites, reading gold and pathfinder metals through the overburden. The 2016 line crossed the quartz vein at 2700E 359N that assayed 1.36 g Au/mT; the highest soil gold sat about 10 m north of it.

2021–23: the optionee's program
In 2021 the property was optioned. The optionee stripped and sampled outcrops that summer, then filed three programs in 2022 – the next three stops.
-
2022: drone magnetics over the whole property
In April 2022 a drone flew 684 km of magnetic lines, 25 m apart, over the whole optioned ground, and the data were modelled in 3D to about 800 m deep. The report names no targets; it recommends a full structural interpretation.
-
2022: the first IP survey
Dias Geophysical ran a 3D induced-polarisation and resistivity survey on 21 lines, about 42 km, imaging the rock to about 400 m – the first IP ever reported on these claims. It found five chargeable or conductive zones and recommended drilling two of them (122210 and 207124, shown as targets).
-
2022: hole EO-22-004
One 969 m hole, drilled in November 2022 about 1.8 km west of the Reed showing, with 326 samples assayed. The core log flags five significant fault and alteration zones, and the same assays show five anomalous zones – the same five – with a gold signature (Au, Ag, As, Sb, Te, Cu) missing from the rest of the hole. It was planned as the first of four holes: the Reed showing, the conductors beside it and both IP targets are still waiting for the drill.

What has never been tested
After the work filed since 1994 – about $855,000 of it – the Reed showing – 14.04 g Au/mT over 0.40 m – has never been drill-tested. Every report on this tour is listed, with its PDF, on the Assessment work page.
