Location and infrastructure
The property lies in Eby and Otto townships, about 10 km south-west of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. The claims sit just east of Highway 11 and touch Highway 66, about 5.6 km from Agnico Eagle’s Macassa Mine – in production since 1933 and one of the highest-grade gold mines in the world.
Infrastructure is close at hand: the Ontario Northland railway runs just north of the claims, a Hydro One power line crosses the property along the Highway 11 trail, and natural gas is nearby. Trails and drill pads from the 2022 program give access to most of the ground.
Land position
The property consists of 10 mining claims and 5 mining leases, about 285 ha (approximate, from the claim outlines). It adjoins Stardust Metal’s Kirkland West project in three places – along the north block and at two parcels to the south – and adjoins Agnico Eagle ground. Agnico Eagle’s Macassa Mine, still producing, is about 5.6 km north-east of the Reed showing, and Barrick Gold holds a large block of claims to the west and south-west.

Ground we have held
We held all of this ground and kept only the best of it – today’s Eby–Otto property. At its peak, in 1996–97, Doug Robinson’s ground covered about 1,150 ha – four times today’s 285 ha.

We also hold the complete exploration record on the neighbouring Eby West, Otto Horne and Highway 11 ground (1994–2012): grids, magnetics, MaxMin EM and MMI soils. That ground has lapsed and is not part of the property.
