Who we are
Kirkland Gold is an independent prospector partnership. The owners of the Eby–Otto property are Doug Robinson, P.Eng., Betty Robinson, Nat Reed and Emmy Reed, continuing the work of the late James (Jim) Reed. We live in Swastika, a few kilometres from the property, and we have explored it ourselves for more than four decades.
Doug Robinson, P.Eng.
Our exploration lead. On this ground since 1994: 1:1000 geological mapping, ground magnetics, MaxMin, soil and rock sampling, and the deposit model the targets are built on.
Betty Robinson
Co-owner of the property and a partner in Kirkland Gold.
Nat Reed
Co-owner of the property and a partner in Kirkland Gold.
Emmy Reed
Co-owner, carrying on the work Jim Reed began around 1980 – the first grid, mapping, trenching and surveys on the Reed showing.
What we do
- Keep the ground in good standing. About 285 ha – 10 mining claims and 5 mining leases in Eby and Otto townships.
- Keep the record. About $855,000 of assessment work has been approved on the property and nearby ground since 1994, every program with its public report. See assessment work.
- Put it all in one place. Every claim, showing, sample and survey is in the Property Viewer, in 1D, 2D and 3D.
- Work with our neighbours. Exploration programs have been circulated to, and discussed with, the First Nations and Métis communities of the area. See History.
What we are looking for
The property is open to an investor. The Reed showing returned 14.04 g Au/mT over 0.40 m in cut samples (2017) and has never been drill-tested. Read the opportunity, take the guided tour, or talk to us – we are happy to walk the ground with you.
Results are historical and from the sources named on each page. See legal and disclaimer.
